Rehabilitation and Renewal comes through daily dedicated time with God; morning and night. This is a time to develop, renew, or re-establish a relationship with the Holy Spirit.
Hebrews 3:13 – “Encourage each other daily, as long as it is called “Today” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.”
2 Corinthians 4:16 – “Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.”
The spiritual discipline of journaling is an activity whereby we open ourselves to God to do a transforming spiritual work in our lives. Journaling can provide the opportunity for us to express our thoughts and feelings to God. As we pay attention to our thoughts and feelings, we hold them up to the truth and light of God’s Word. Through this discipline we experience the revelation of truth, we experience renewal and we experience healing.
The morning journal is a time for you and the Holy Spirit to create a strategic plan for the day. The evening journal is a time to reflect upon the day, to learn from your struggles, and to celebrate your victories.
Habakkuk2:2 – “And the Lord answered me: Write the vision, make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it.”
